FAQ

I've listed below some of the most commons questions clients, friends and family ask me about Reflexology but please don't hesistate to call, text, email or contact me via facebook or instagram if you have any questions at all about a treatment.
How often should I have reflexology?
This is different from person to person and will often depend on the reason for visiting. I usually advise that if you are coming for reflexology with a particular complaint, such as ongoing pain, digestion issues, irregular menstrual cycles, then ideally you would visit weekly for 4 to 6 weeks until we can assess if the treatment is helping. After this we would move to a maintenance program and this may be twice montly or once a month.  For clients visiting for all round wellbeing I advise coming every 3 to 6 weeks.
Ive heard reflexology can make you feel poorly, will I feel unwell the next day?
Reflexology cannot make you unwell but if you are starting a cold, for instance, it may escalate this in the same way as a massage would as the treatment is increasing circulation and detoxing. This should be viewed in a positive light as the treatment is simply encouraging your body to help itself!
